If coming in winter time you will need awd or 4x4 but so worth the view

Stunning scenery and wildlife very close to Denver. Spacious and both kid and pet friendly. Very close to Evergreen hikes. Good value. The huge fridge is loud like the listing states but also has significant temperature variations and we lost most veggies/salad to freezing. We needed to plug and unplug to moderate. Living room is fairly dark with only two working lights but the fireplace was excellent. Bring wood! We had snow while staying and even with Jeep 4x4 and AWD SUV had trouble exiting the driveway. Recommend that you bring salt if you come in winter.

First let me say that we very much enjoyed our stay. The view from the house is absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise! The place is cozy, comfy and obviously used and lived in regularly by the hosts. There were a few frustrating issues with the rental. We arrived in the dark and it was very difficult to figure out how to turn on lights in the home. The living room lights did not working and the rest of the light switches were difficult to find, even in daylight. Some information about lighting and labeled switches would have been helpful. The house is listed as a smart home but none of the suggested voice commands worked. The hot tub was also broken and know to be broken for a long time but the hosts did not let us know until after we asked about it. For a $200 additional cleaning fee, I expect a rental to be very clean, but there were lots of crumbs and bits around the living room and kitchen, food still in the fridge, and bags of dog poop by front door. Bedrooms were very clean!

We had such a wonderful time at this lovely home! Perfect size for our family including an infant and young child. Spacious, clean and super cozy. The host was so responsive and accommodating to our needs. We loved all the childrens items and books and enjoyed sitting near the fire during the snowstorm!

Beautiful place in the mountains, just a hop and a skip to Denver! We stayed and attended a red rocks event and this house was in perfect location! We cooked the entire time, it would of been nice to know there wasn’t a functioning fridge. I camp all the time so luckily we brought a cooler and made do. The weather was beautiful in October, I paid above average for this stay and kind of expected the hot tub would have been working. Or at least a heads up that it wasn’t in working condition considering I booked this place based on that amenity, in addition to location. The host has very clear cleaning instructions, getting in and getting out was easy and convenient. Beautiful surroundings to hike around enjoy some nature. Overall lovely stay!
