My wife and I stayed at Maria's place for a month. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and even allowed us to enter the property early. As for things we liked: the space was clean, large, and good for long term stays. Internet was stable and sufficient for streaming shows and work video conferences. The place is close to Parque Paraiso, a huge park great for walking, and Wayra Plaza which has some nice stores like Megamaxi, one of my favorite super markets in Cuenca. There's also a convenience market across the street for quick trips. As for things that could be improved: we had an issue with hot water one day but that was promptly fixed after we contacted the host. Being near a main road, it was a little loud in certain rooms for me coming from the US, but was fine for my Ecuadorian partner. We were also told to leave trash bags out in the mornings but it would have been nice to have a 'trash shelf' to leave the bags on overnight like other houses in the neighborhood
