Ah, the sounds of silence. This place is sublime; so quiet and peaceful amidst magnificent giant trees. Everything was perfect as this was my first ever Airbnb stay. The suite was spotless and well appointed. The area has a great funky rustic vibe to it. Hiking in the nearby national park is awesome. Nights are magical, looking up through the trees at twinkling stars. It’s so quiet, you can hear your own heartbeat. Lisa is a fantastic host and could not be more charming, humorous and accommodating. She’s also a great conversationalist and knows the history of the area. Talking with Lisa was an unexpected delightful treat and I cannot wait to return. Oh, and the hot tub is to die for. Two thumbs way way up! 👍👍

I had an amazing stay at Lisa’s place. It was even more beautiful than the photos and so comfortable. I loved the beautiful grounds and visiting the animals everyday. Lisa was an excellent host and very responsive. I will definitely be back!

What a lovely getaway! Don’t let the “room in a house” designation fool you: this is a complete private living space, with large main room/bathroom/full walk-in closet. No kitchen per se, but there’s a fridge & freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and even a sink with dish rack/dish soap/sponge. Great location: we loved the little hike we took through the Henry Cowell redwoods as part of our walk to dinner!

Not only was Lisa's farm an outstandingly peaceful and comfortable place to stay, but Lisa was an outstandingly friendly and responsive host. The price is outstandingly reasonable for the level of accommodation too. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I chose to stay the two nights we were in Santa Cruz at Lisa's wonderful place because it was within 5 minute driving distance to Roaring Camp and Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park locations! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how clean and well organized the bedroom suite is with everything we needed in the room. We both found the bed very comfortable and the room comfortably warm with the heater on. After a couple days of hiking at Pinnacles, soaking in the huge bathtub was a welcome relief! Lisa was in communication with me throughout and her check-in instructions were very helpful! I'm glad she gave us the heads up to try to get there while there's daylight to make finding the place easier. Overall, we would definitely try to stay here again next time we're in town.
