First of all, John and Tracy clearly love what they do, and really are pros when it comes to providing hospitality. they made us feel like true guests, embracing our kids and welcoming us around their Christmas tree and fireplace for Christmas morning. The cabin is wonderful, private and surrounded by plenty of space and trees to make it feel it bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the slopes and downtown Hakuba. However you can still walk to Goryu, or catch a quick shuttle bus, and plenty of restaurants are 3-5 mins stroll away. This place is perfect for those that like a little privacy in a gorgeous cabin that is still walkable to restaurants and close to the slopes. Highly recommend.

Very nice little cab. Due to the late arrival time, we were personally driven by the host service. John and Tracy are warm and attentive, and the house is clean and well equipped.

This place was amazing, it felt like a dream. Tracey goes above and beyond for her guests and was more than happy to give out the local tips and hidden gems. It was also great for us having no language barrier. We will definitely be staying here again sometime in the near future

Although we never met John, and I’m sure he’s just as nice, Tracy was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we stepped off the bus, she was there picking us up, telling us where to eat, doing groceries, dropping us off around the area, she literally went above and beyond on every aspect. We travelled with our 2.5 year old daughter, so her hospitality and understanding of what we wanted and needed made our stay extra comfortable. She was very attentive without being overbearing. The cabin itself was very cozy and private, just right for a small family to stay and had all the stuff we required. I guess I can’t really comment on the skiing aspect as I only had a couple days, the wife is a total beginner and my daughter just had a great time in the snow! But as accommodation and hospitality is concerned, this had more than everything. Would definitely recommend.

Great cabin in a nice location close to Goryu ski hill and a wonderful onsen. Tracy made great breakfast. Enjoyed our stay
