From the moment I made the booking until the day I checked out, their prompt communication and helpfulness exceeded my expectations. The hotel is nestled in a calm and safe neighbourhood. It is located within a 30 minute walking distance from the airport. From the balcony, you can enjoy a beautiful view onto the swimming pool and the pavilion. There is a restaurant on the premises with excellent service and a well-balanced menu. Although the surroundings were pleasant, the flat itself had severe deficiencies. When I first entered, an awkward smell of cigarette smoke presented itself to me. It is likely that the flat was not aired at all after the previous guest moved out. Luckily, the smell subsided after opening the balcony for an extended period of time. The listing did mention a "hygienic bathroom" which could not be further from the truth. It had a nauseating smell that remained even after thorough airing. There were spider webs on the toilet paper holder. The gel tray contained soap residue from previous guests. The sink drain was dirty. All bathroom fixtures were corroded and had a thick layer of green rust. This indicates that the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly for a long time. The Airbnb picture shows an electrical stove which was missing in the flat. This rules out the option of cooking your own meals. To worsen matters, the aforementioned restaurant is the only restaurant in the neighbourhood and it caters to the fine dining clientele, rendering a long stay costly.
