I must leave an excellent review for this place because it completely exceeded our expectations. We had a fabulous time in this property. First, the grounds are stunning with a glorious landscape surrounding it, lovely architecture, quiet and serenity, a respect for nature and animals. We came a family of 2 adults and 3 children including a baby, and the unit we stayed in was simply perfect for us. Besides it being cozy, charming with magnificent views, well equipped and comfortable beds - the hostess herself was friendly and charming and welcomed us warmly with much enthusiasm. We felt like we needed this heartwarming welcome, felt embraced and very much taken care of. Marida, a proud local of the region, gave us instructions and a great many recommendations about her beloved Palermo and many places to sightsee, explore and eat in the nearby area. We felt like we got to experience Sicily through the eyes of a local. The stay here enriched the overall layers of history and art. LOVE

We had a wonderful week at this little slice of Sicilian heaven. The pool and surroundings were truly beautiful. Marida was endlessly helpful and so welcoming and we fell in love with Bonbon the dog. The property is well located, we easily got the short train ride to Palermo and drove to Cefalù . The local village of Santa Flavia is walkable (although not the most picturesque walk) but we had a delicious pizza at Pizzaria Monet where the staff were so friendly. Bagheria is a small town very close with supermarkets/banks etc and we also had a delicious authentic meal after stumbling upon Trattoria Buttitta where again the staff were super friendly. I would really recommend Solunto as the perfect base to relax after exploring the best of Sicily. Thank you Marida for making our stay so enjoyable
We’ve spend a great week with our family (2 young kids) in this beautiful little green paradise.The appartement is spacious and very well equipped. We’ve enjoyed the swimming pool a lot after a day of sightseeing!
We stayed at Marisa’s place for 6 days and it was great. The villas are well kept, the pool was awesome to cool off in the evening - with a beautiful view as well! Would highly recommend!
