Our stay @ Northern Pines was exactly what we were hoping it would be. We got out of town for Spring break with our kids for a few days. The house was beautiful, quiet, and clean. Kwin and Megan were great hosts. Their communication prior to, during and after our stay was awesome. There was a very detailed binder with house information and recommendations for things to do in the area. The beds were comfortable and the house was so cozy. We especially loved having the trails outside, the hot tub and the sauna. It was extra awesome bonus to be able to bring our 2 dogs on vacation with us. They also enjoyed the property and felt right at home.

Spent a long weekend at this cabin with a family of 4 plus a small dog. The home was spotless and was exactly as pictured/described. I especially enjoyed the hiking trails. I only had running shoes and rain boots with me and I was fine with my running shoes, but hiking boots would have been better. Some trails are pretty steep and depending on the weather that could get tricky without proper shoes. The sauna was wonderful! I would get that going and while it was warming up I’d spend 15-20 minutes in the hot tub and by then the sauna was ready. The beds were comfy, tons of extra pillows and blankets, lots of seating around the TV, and the kitchen had all the essentials. The only thing you may want to be mindful of depending on those traveling with you is that the property does have 3 levels, and then because the home is up on a hill, there’s a couple spots where there is a steep drop off. This was of no concern for us, but those traveling with young children should be aware.

Megan & Kwin are wonderful hosts and my friends and I loved our stay! We spent a cozy weekend in enjoying the scenery, relaxing and reading. Highly recommend this place to anyone for any season! Megan & Kwin had local suggestions for all times of the year.
