Cheryl and Jeff were great communicators and were totally available to answer our questions about activists. Jeff also helped us navigate a car rental. Highly recommend making the fort to carry the kayak down to the river.

Lucky Dreamer Lodge was the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a beautiful, well kept home surrounded by nature, but also in close proximity to town and restaurants. They were incredibly welcoming, offered us lots of recommendations on where to go for tours, hiking, restaurants, etc. and really made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home & comfortable. The river on the property was amazing. We swam and/or kayaked in it every day and saw toucans, howler monkeys, herons, hummingbirds, and much more. The rest of the property was great and although many of the fruits weren’t in season to pick, we still enjoyed exploring the edible garden. Would highly recommend and should we ever come back to Belize, we’ll be staying there again!

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights in the Lucky Dreamer Lodge. The space is large and roomy and the kitchen is so thoughtfully stocked. This is such a wonderful place to stay and explore the area from. We loved that the location was right in the jungle and a ways out of the busier town of San Ignacio. We had so many adventures during our stay that will last a lifetime, many on the recommendations of Cheryl and Jeff. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us.

Just stay here! Cheryl and Jeff are absolutely delightful humans and entirely amazing hosts. The place is clean, safe, comfortable and beautiful. The wildlife abounds. Food and attractions easily accessible. The highlight of our visit was probably when we got to see the toucans. And when Jeff got us coconuts from his trees. The tour and attractions the hosts recommended were spot on. We felt taken care off. 11/10 will stay here again. ❤️

Lucky dreamers was exactly as described. We loved having the open air kitchen too. It was fully stocked with great appliances and cookware all the essentials were there also – coffee, oil, water, etc.. Both Geoff and Sheryl were so friendly and gave us great recommendations for local places to check out and eat. They also let us eat the produce on the land which was a very cool bonus for the kids! They were extremely responsive and we’re happy to help with the local recommendations for two hours and shuttle services. The place was right on the river, which added some much-needed reprieve from the heat. The minnows are quite aggressive but it’s great for quick dips. Overall, we were very happy with the place ! Thanks for the lovely stay you guys!
