We had an wonderful stay at Cabanas do Lago! The place is so beautiful, with a view of the lake, the beautiful and tastefully selected interior of the house and the peace that you feel on the property. The hospitality of Luis and Filipa is so nice, you quickly feel at home and Filipa has a great talent in the kitchen. There is an open atmosphere where you can meet the other guests, but also enough private space for yourself. There are cute villages in the area where you can experience traditional Portuguese life, but the beaches on the west coast are also easily accessible (and so quiet and beautiful!!) Our son was very happy with all the toys and almost didn't want go home with his parents :) Highly recommended this beautiful place and we will come back :)

A fantastic place for those who love to be surrounded by nature and want to meet the wonderful people who are running the place. Everything here has been carefully thought out down to the smallest detail and in every tiny detail you can see a deep care for both the place and your guests. Thank you again!

How should we start ? Staying with Filipa and Louis was amazing. Short: if you visit the Algarve it’s a must to go here! Long: Filipa and Louis are the most beautiful people that have an eye for details. The accommodation is so so lovely and quiet great to relax but not boring at all. You can swim in the lake, Kajak, Sup it’s a dream. Filipa and Louis take care of everything. They brought fresh bread, fruits, coffee. We had a bbq, filipa cooked for us. It was like staying with friends and at the end it was like leaving friends. They took so much care and we felt really at home. Thank you, we will come again! (We traveled with our baby 5 months)

Es war wundervoll. Ein Paradies auf Erden. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Man fühlt sich einfach willkommen wie ein Familienmitglied. Wir durften auch Delikatessen probieren. Vielen Dank!!

Liebe Filippa& Luis Ihr seid beide wunderbare Hosts. Wir durften eintauchen in die portugiesische Herzlichkeit-das feine selbstgekochte Essen und die Tischgemeinschaft mit euch war ein Highlight. Dieser Ort den ihr geschaffen habt hat unser Herz berührt. Von den Orangenbäumen über die wunderschöne Vielfalt der Natur inklusive „Privat-See“ bis in die Details der Inneneinrichtung der Cabanas, … Ein Traum! Wir kommen wieder!!!
