Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt.Silvi und Oliver sind unheimlich lieb und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war hervorragend und die Unterkunft einmalig. Die tägliche TeaTime hat unseren Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet. Würden sofort wiederkommen und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft genießen. vielen Dank für alles

Oliver y Silvi son exelentes personas y exelentes anfitriones, tener la experiencia de alojarse en una casa flotante es unica...eso hay que hacerlo, 100% naturaleza, es de apreciar la construccion flotante en madera construida por Oliver parte por parte eso es muy meritorio Hablasr con los anfitriones antes y durante la cena es algo muy enrriquecedor, la comida que ofrecen es muy natural y deliciosa, Silvi es muy interesada por temas de cocina y concervacion y comida locar llevada a otro nivel. Recomiendo el sitio y los anfitriones, vale la pena 100%

I stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience. Oliver was extremely responsive and answered questions very clearly and promptly. I'm not a typical guest. I'm from the US but I live on an island 10 miles away. I stayed at El Toucan Loco to explore the area and especially see what a floating bungalow was like. I'm thinking about building my bungalow floating. One very cool things about about it floating is it can be very close to the water level. Usually bungalows on columns are a few feet above water at high tide and an additional four feet at low tide. The floating bungalow goes up and down with the water, so the top of the patio is just about one foot above the water. At night when the water was perfectly calm without even a ripple, I sat on the patio with my feet hanging over and in the water. I could swirl them around to trigger the bioluminescent algae and see glowing swirls in the water. Absolutely amazing. Word limit, yuck.. so much more to say...

klare Empfehlung! wir verbrachten unsere letzten 4 Nächte unserer Panama Reise hier und schöner hätte der Abschluss nicht sein können. Erst waren wir etwas skeptisch, da die Lodge etwas weiter weg liegt als die meisten locations. Aber hier bekommt man das gewisse Etwas! eine tolle Unterkunft, Kayaks zur freien Verfügung, um nach Faultieren in der Umgebung Ausschau zu halten, Tolles Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen waren einfach super und unser kulinarisches Highlight - Danke Sylvie !), tolle Gespräche mit Beiden und ein toller individueller Ausflug mit Olivier und seinem Boot zu Zapatilla Island inklusive Schnorcheln. Danke nochmal an euch für die Zeit 😊

Oliver and Sylvie are both very nice. Sylvie was an amazing chef. The cost of the rooms are very reasonable. There are a few things that should be clearer in the descriptions. While the food is considered optional, there is no other way for you to eat , no small refrigerator or anywhere to store food. They provide a water jug in the room but everything else must be requested from the host in their house , this is a bit uncomfortable because it feels like you are intruding their space. Additionally, the cost to taxi us in and out was stated in the listing to be no more than $90 and we were charged $130. There are some hidden costs that we did not anticipate that substantially increased the overall costs. Outside the couple activities you can do with Oliver , there is no land to walk on, no where to get off the floating huts. So there is a bunch of down time this was relatively relaxing and we did really enjoy the snorkeling and sightseeing of the animals. Overall it was a good stay!
