Margaret was an outstanding host. Place was warm and wecloming and immaculate. Margaret booked ia into local pub for dinner and drove us there. Could not be nicer.

Margaret was the consummate hostess! A wonderful place to stay with beautiful surroundings a super comfortable bed and a breakfast I would’ve paid good money for at a restaurant! I highly recommend if you’re thinking of staying to do it! You will be beyond happy you did. She effortlessly exceeded any expectations I could have had and I am planning on returning on a holiday with my wife. 100 out of 5 stars. It simply doesn’t get better!

We were walking St Cuthberts Way and arrived to a lovely welcome with tea and shortbread. Margaret had a place for our wet muddy things and made sure they were dry each morning. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit , warm croissant and rolls and she made us some of the best sandwiches on the trip. We stayed for two nights and were really comfortable - the bedrooms were very welcoming with everything you may need including a big choice of teas , lovely towels and toiletries . We felt really cared for and welcome .
