This is, by far, one of the best BnBs/Rooms/AirBnBs we have ever stayed in. Jodi and Walter are some of the best hosts we have encountered. In addition to the wonderful room, which was exactly as described, there were a ton of little details and amenities that make this a fantastic place to stay. When we go back to Durango, we will be staying here.

Beautiful BnB and perfect for what needed. Jodi and Walter are gracious hosts and provide a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy Durango. It is located a short 10-ish minutes from downtown and is surrounded by Ponderosa Pines, river, and mountains. An exquisite display of a mountain get away! Walter’s cookies alone are enough for us to look through our future travel plans to consider a return visit! We highly recommend!

Can’t say enough good things about this property. The hosts Jodi and Walter such lovely people and so kind. They made everything so easy from check-in to check-out to local recommendations to just having great conversations in the morning at breakfast. The breakfast was wonderful- simple and enough to be nutritious with coffee and all types of teas. The room was so COZY! We ended spending a good amount of time in the room after sightseeing old town Durango for a few hours. The bed and breakfast is literally 5 mins from the hot springs and 15 mins for the purgatory resort. The furnishings were so clean, the bathroom was clean and the room was just perfect. You can tell Jodi and Walter put their heart and soul into the place. I will definitely bring my family here to visit. And the cookies that Walter makes— BEST chocolate chip cookies I have ever had!
