Hanoi is the Paris of Asia. If you want to feel the vibe of it, this is a great place to stay in. The building is in the end of a small narrow street right next to a confectionery. You go up the steep narrow stairs of an old house and get into a cozy little room with a balcony and private bathroom. It has everything needed: big bed with a thick mattress, a desk, a hanger for the clothes, hairdryer, air conditioner, small cooker and some basic cookware and dishes. There are plenty of authentic places to eat nearby and it is only 20 minutes walk to Opera house. Tom was extremely helpful and responsive and made my stay enjoyable despite some problems with electricity which do happen in historical Hanoi from time to time.

We had a great stay at the Minimal Homestay. The location is great an allows you to taste a more local side of Hanoi, while still being at walkable distance from the Old Quarter and the more touristic areas. The flat was super clean and comfortable, drinkable water was also provided! The host was very responsive and helpful.

Great place, just as advertised, very clean place and responsive host. Only had a small issue with the wifi and it was resolved inmediatly. My favourite thing was the area, super lively area with no many tourists but super interesting if you want to see the local life while being close by the touristic areas. Would come back!

I really enjoyed my stay at The Minimalist apartment. It is more of a local neighborhood, but only a short walk or Grab from the Old Quarter, but it felt like a more authentic experience of Ha Noi than staying in the more touristy districts. Tom was a very attentive host, answering any questions quickly. The only blot is no fridge in the room- it isn't advertised as having one, but it would be a useful addition. Other than that, nothing but good things to say about the host, the accomodation and the value for money! Thanks for an amazing stay 😁

Easy self check-in with clear instructions given in advance. The host always replies quickly. The house is not around Hoan Kiem but still within walking distance, so it is a perfect chance to explore this area. Plus there are inexpensive local foods and coffee shops around!
