Angie & Bruce were great hosts. I had a last minute change with travel plans and was able to check-in the next day after booking. I was greeted and provided instructions on where to go. Angie was very responsive and quick to answer my questions. The space is quite spacious and worked great for working remote and to relax. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal. It seemed like several appliances were new and some aspects of the apartment were renovated. Overall the studio is kept up well. It is across the street from the hospital, so there is noise throughout the day but it was never that distracting. The building is quiet and the neighbors are all very friendly although it also felt very private. Easy walking distance to DTLA and public transportation. Having a few grocery and restaurant options Newark by was very convenient.

There are few things you should know before stay here, no parking spot near the building Wi-Fi have network but no internet and ambulance cars alarm all night cuz hospital across the street.

Angie is very responsive and on several occasions helped me out with things above and beyond what one would expect, like helping me ship a larger item to her before I moved in and bringing it to the apartment. The apartment itself is quite nice and having laundry in the building is convenient. Definitely good for a long stay, especially if you work or study in the apartment as the desk and chair are quite nice.
