The property was perfect for our group of 12 adults! We were amazed at the layout of the property, the pool area and the snorkeling right out the gate. Carolina was very responsive to any needs we had and we always felt safe and yet secluded even though our morning walks on the beach our on the sidewalk we encountered other vacationers. We would highly recommend this property and can't wait to visit again.

The location and villas were beautiful. However, there were a lot of mosquitos, insects, spiders and tarantulas which prohibited us from having dinner outside as previously planned. Some of the spiders got into the villas. The area to get into the ocean is right across the back gate. However, water shoes are definitely needed. The food from the chef was great and delicious. The Airbnb host was responsive, but at times passive aggressive. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, there were also iguanas and a hog outside of the property which was fun. There is a lot to see if you enjoy snorkeling right behind the property and you are also able to walk to the Westin and access the beach through there.

Our stay at Santa Pillar was awesome. The estate is perfect for a very large family or a large group of friends! Carolina and her staff were incredibly helpful and attentive! We had a few changes to our stay .. and Carolina took it all in stride and let me be neurotic and a bit crazy! 😂 Definitely hire chef Mishel … he was amazing .. his mango chutney mahi was sooooo good! We loved that the Westin was right next door if we wanted a resort feel with a swimmable beach. The house is Walking distance to an amazing restaurant, The Lobster House (the grilled side) and the most amazing restaurant for a nicer dinner .. or by day the beach club at Buccanno’s! Just a fair warning … if you go in the summer .. during the rainy season. Bring bug spray and be prepared for little buggies all over the island. All in all it was a fantastic week … with the best Conceirge service .. and a great house!

You won't find a better place for a large group of ten to eighteen in Cozumel and probably the Yucatan. Privately set estate between two hotels, be aware there are two lodging options here. The space is roomy and was pristinely clean. The pool is substantial and you walk out to the beach area which leads to a rocky entrance to the ocean. It is not a beach for small children. Snorkeling is great, enter at the Westin beach and drift down the reef to the next resort. Water shoes and gloves are essential, many sharp edges coming out of the water. Caroline is a gracious and responsive host, helped us with car rental and activities. You will need a car if you go into town, although there are taxis at the Westin. Nice touch with stocked fridges with drinks and snacks when you arrive hungry and thirsty, also a five gallon water tank to start. Water pressure is low, may wait for hot showers. Beds are firm. This is jungle so bring bug spray for when the breeze subsides. We would stay again.
