We stayed at the cottage for a week to explore Mayo and Galway. The first part of the week we experienced some real Irish weather but we returned to a comfortable cottage with a nice hearth ( I want one like that!) Judy was always quick to respond to any question or problem. Very friendly. Could have stayed for at least a week longer If we had the time. Thank you once again Judy.

nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil simple sincère et chaleureux de Judy. A l'arrivée elle nous avait préparé un gâteau irlandais Nous avons pu aller chercher des légumes dans sa serre tout le long du séjour. Le premier jour de notre arrivée, nous sommes arrivés tard : elle nous a recommandé un pub et une épicerie à proximité et nous a même réservé le repas au pub. Elle nous a aussi indiqué les jours où se jouait de la musique irlandaise dans les pubs autour du village où nous nous trouvions. Le logement était très propre, très spacieux, très agréable et même mieux que sur les photos. Nous avions une très belle vue sur un lac. Le logement est à une heure de Clifden et de galway et 20 minutes de Wesport. Nous avons eu le coup de coeur pour le connemara. Les paysages sont magnifiques et les irlandais vraiement trés sympatiques, acceuillants et vraiment stressés. Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour.

So stellt man sich ein irisches Cottage vor! Einfach und urig…. Wir möchten uns auch nochmal bedanken, dass wir früher einchecken konnten und über den freundlich Empfang. Der Blick auf den See ist umwerfend und immer wenn wir nach Hause kam wartet schon der liebe Hund von Judy auf uns. Das wir eine Gruppe von Wanderern waren, fanden wir die Einzelbetten im Erdgeschoss sehr gut.

We had a lovely stay here. A lovely location overlooking Lough Mask and the cottage itself is lovely and cosy. Judy and John made us very welcome and we’re really helpful.

This spacious and comfortable cottage with its spectacular views across Lough Mask provided us with an excellent base for exploring the Sheffrey Hills, the Partry Mountains and the Mweelrea Mountains. A veritable hillwalker's paradise. Judy and John were charming and helpful hosts: available but always unobtrusive.
