Just a lovely place to get away from it all. Peaceful and very comfortable. The bath and wood fire just made it exceptional for us. We do like to get away from it all, however we had no trouble seeing the silos art trail or getting to Bests winery at Great Western. Excellent value for money. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful but not intrusive.

An absolute angel of a woman, Alice took time to meet me personally , show me around the property and how things worked. It immediately made me feel at home. The accommodation itself was super clean, spacious and has absolutely everything you need for your stay. Spectacular scenery around the property and the location is great as it’s only 20/25 minutes from Donald and St Arnaud, so you can go to either town for supplies. Also, Toby the dog is such a friendly little dude, it’s so nice to come back after work and have a super happy and friendly dog to greet you. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely be looking to see if this place is free.

Great getaway to be in a peaceful setting on a farm. Make sure you buy food on the way into your accomodation as the closest restaurant are at least 30mins+ away. All amenities are there and your entertainment will be looking at the clear night skies and absorb the glittering stars, galaxies, and planets. Carol and her son were welcoming and lit the fire pit for us every night. Carol invited us for a little tour on the Batyo Catyo lake which we will not provide any spoilers.
