Our stay was ok except it was the wrong time of year. It started off rainy then turned cold. The accommodation is best suited for any other season than winter. 1. The room was heated by a small space heater which was inadequate for temperatures below 50 degrees F. As a result, it was very uncomfortable. 2. The bathroom was as advertised but walking 40 or 50 feet in the cold was too much. 3. The room had no provision to hang up your clothes, it could use a wardrobe or closet. 4. The lighting on the deck was good when it was on but late at night the motion sensors didn't work, so late-night runs to the bathroom led to bumps into deck furniture. The commode was tucked into a narrow alcove about 18-20 inches wide which made going a squeeze. Any other time it would have been a delightful rustic adventure but in the cold not so.

We've stayed here before, and it's just wonderful. Beautiful, peaceful, with glorious natural lighting pouring in from all the windows. It's a great place to get away and spend time with your significant other. We even played Pickleball on the resort's new courts. Very fun. And there are lots of other great amenities like that within the Holly Lake resort community. Jimmy and Carolyn are great! So kind and helpful, and fun to talk to. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Perfect place to unwind and relax. The surroundings are very beautiful. You feel like you are in a forest. The windows allow you to see the trees swaying with the wind. Almost surreal.,

We had a quick in and out, just needed a bed for the night. Was perfectly priced.
