This was our second time at Sam's house. We stayed here while visiting family and enjoyed every minute. House was clean and spacious. Only problem we had was figuring out T.V. in the bedroom and Sam was there in a few minutes to help out.He is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sam's Place. HLR was picturesque complete with frolicking deer in the yard. The house was serene. The amenities were stellar. The Host was friendly and knowledgeable. He was responsive when needed and available through the app and in text. We dined at Sushito's, La Carreta, and Dana's Cheesecake Delights (the world's BEST cheesecake) while in Gilmer and Moe's pizza in HLR. (Highly recommend them all) We made steaks at the house since there was a grill and ample spices in the cabinet. The house was peaceful and spacious; we only utilized a fraction of the available space, but fully intend to come back this summer with the whole family to fill it up & enjoy the lake, the pool/hot tub (although the bathtub is large enough to swim in:) ATV/ hiking trails, and spend more time at the gun range and on the golf course. I felt safe there. It was clean. It was less than an hours drive for us to HLR which is important due to our aging parents. 10/10

Very clean and nice house. Second time I have rented and great both times. Had a bit of trouble unlocking door but Sam called back and was at the house in minutes to help.
