Welcome to Dominica, a haven for safety, relaxation & adventure. Welcome to the enticing south east village of Morne Jaune with stunning ocean & mountain views. Our apartment is nestled by coffee, cinnamon & bayleaf trees & a garden. Your health is our focus, so we provide a hygienic environment, a surplus of cleaning supplies & the adjacent village playing field for jogging. Your day will include exciting tours of the East Coast & the Nature Island. Get up, breathe, indulge #villageluxury Guest have full access to two cool and spacious bedrooms both with queen size beds, and shared areas of a bathroom, kitchenette, patio, a small common space and large yard outside with a garden that we just cultivated. Our palms are growing beautifully. Soon guests will be able to experience savory cuisine from farm to table, once our garden is fully grown. The entire property is at one level, no steps are needed to enter and access is easy from one room to another. Patio furniture is readily available but guests are required to keep them stored inside the apartment when they are away from the property or when checking out. One of our main sustainable features is back up water which is stored in a concrete tank outside the building but solar will be slowly incorporated. We can't wait to see you check in and connect with others to share your experiences. Dominica is one of the safest islands in the Caribbean. The apartment is well kept inside out for your comfort and hygienic experience. We have enhanced our cleaning policy to ensure a high level of hygiene. Hand sanitizers, disinfectant sprays and wipes are located throughout the apartment. Additional towels for frequent changing are available for your comfort and safety. There are small convenient shops in the village so you can help yourself to basic food items. Some bars may also have a weekend barbecues, local food feasts and domino competitions! FR: Nous avons eu le plaisir d'être accueilli chez la merveilleuse hôte, Hermina, en milieu d'été. L’appartement était très propre, confortable et bien décoré. Il possède tout le nécessaire et est très bien situé, proche de nombreuses excursions. Il a une vue du patio imprenable sur la mer et les montagnes. Hermina est la meilleure hôte que nous ayons rencontré, nous avons eu quelques difficultés durant le séjour et Hermina et Mickael ont toujours répondu présent à n’importe quelle heure du jour ou de la nuit ! Magnifique île à visiter et beaucoup de chaleur humaine dans cette maison ! Vous pouvez venir en toute confiance !! Merci encore !! Morne Jaune is pleasant. The bnb is at the top of the Morne. Surprised one day to see the Church Congregation to pray and populate Morne Jaune. Morne Jaune means Yellow Mountain. A/C keeps it cool, and WiFi was improved from good to best during the stay. More difficult during Storm Season, recommend to be there in the Winter. Nice Trees with local Provisions. Michael and Hermina are pleasant. Place is comfortable for two or three though it seems a little crowded with four. Fuel is not far from the site, though heed local directions over ggle directions when going around the island.
we were 3 adults, our stay was perfect, Hermina is answering very fast, she fixed à wifi problem with the operator super fast, she even provided complimentary snacks. Everything in the appartement is ready to use and you have all the kitchen implements needed. Thanks a lot!

Morne Jaune is a small south eastern village with about 120 inhabitants. There are two local grocery shops which has small bars opened during most of the evenings. Houses are scattered but a neighbor can be seen most times. Roads are paved and the people are friendly and helpful. Areas of interest close by: Rosalie River, Rosalie Resort, NET (turtle watching), L’viere Cyrique Trail, Taberi River, Citrus Creek Plantation & Restaurant, SariSari Falls, Victoria Falls and the historic White River. Further west is the Emerald Pool; Kallinago Territory with its indigenous people, history and craft and the scenic village of Castle Bruce. There is no dull moment in the south east of Dominica. Get out and enjoy the Nature Island of the Caribbean.
There is daily public transportation to the city of Roseau (Monday to Saturday) but we strongly recommend to utilize car rentals if you are familiar with our roads or can comfortably drive in the Caribbean. In Dominica we drive on the left side. We strongly recommend the use of our trained Dominican tour guides to make your experience the best ever. Dominica’s tourism features Nature, Culture and Adventure.
