Lisel’s place was a wonderful home-away-from-home! Comfortable, cute, and great location and walking distance to everything Newport has to offer. She was very quick to respond to our questions and needs. I would highly recommend Lisel and this location to anyone wanting to visit beautiful Newport!

The property was bright, open, and in a great location with convenient parking. However, first impressions are lasting... 1. The carpeting going up the entry stairs was soiled in several areas. 2. The property description, in our opinion, wasn't clear in describing the rental unit as occupying the second and third floor. It is a 3 story building with the kitchen, living room, and guest bedroom with the walk-in shower on the second floor. The master suite and office desk is on the third floor. The guest bedroom has no night stands with lamps. 3. Although the TV has access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, the basic cable is very limited with no cable news networks or sports channels. 4. House rules specify that the air conditioning be set to 70 degrees. That is not comfortable nor nationally recommended. The reason is to perhaps address a mold / mildew issue as the guest room closet had a foul odor if the temperature was raised. These are all simple to remedy and thus yield top ratings.

Great place - nice view, busy street with access to restaurants. Clean and fun. Temps were hot outside and the upstairs bedroom took a while to get cooled down. Everything was comfortable and well-stocked.
