Beyond grateful. Still glowing from a magical weekend. The home was classic, feel good cottage living! Large kitchen for cooking, loved hosting our family and friends there. Bill and Ginny are informative, attentive, and caring hosts. The pond was a gem, we floated for hours laughing, soaking up the sun, and not fretting about anything. The cottage has everything you need- lots of beds, towels, lounging areas. Cottage is private, surrounded by trees, and far from the road. Location was great to jet to Hanover, Walkerton, and Chesley- lots of hiking trails and launches to saugeen river. We had a blast and all feel restored. Can’t wait to make it back.

This is a lovely and private spot surrounded by woods. The house is warm and spacious and the bedrooms are very comfortable. We cross country skied at Saw Mill and snow shoed very happily along the trails out the door. We had a really lovely stay. Thank you!

The cabin is bigger than it appears in the photos. It is a true find -- gorgeously built and furnished, with two cast-iron tubs, lovely period features, and plenty of space for a large family. It sits on a plot with pretty forest walks, and the swimming pond is inviting (but there was ice at the edge in the morning we were there in late October so we passed on taking a dip). It was warm, everything works, the kitchen is very well equipped. There is a yoga room with weights for exercise, a hifi, and pretty decks outside. We really loved it.

Rockwood is such a great place for a break. In good weather we hiked, swam and played horse shoes. On a rainy day their were lots of board games, books and videos to pass the time. We definitely hope to return.

This is a unique cabin situated in a beautiful nature sanctuary. The interior decorating is tasteful and whimsical. The pond is a peaceful place to spend time. The large deck overlooks the grounds which feature a small orchard and naturalized meadow with wildflowers. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
