We had a lovely long week-end in one of the Village Cottages and really enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere on the island. The staff and catering company are very friendly and go out of their way to help. It's heaven for nature loving children and dogs who all enjoy freedom in safety. Great for real family time spent walking on the beach, watching the tide, visiting the resident donkeys, cycling around the island, playing outdoor games or pool/fussball/table tennis in the games barn or having a BBQ. The cottages are nice and well equipped with a cosy feel to them and some fun quirky details. We couldn't use the pools as it was still low season and not heated yet but a nice extra at the right time of the year. Not suited to those who are seeking luxury and sleek accommodation. The cottages are purposely shabby chic, old and quirky, the roads are dusty but its part of the experience. I don't know if the Captain's House is different. There are some nice walks just outside of the island that can be accessed during low tide which is twice a day and lasts up to 4 hours so it is doable. We absolutely loved it.

Osea island is an absolute gem. A relaxing, curious, beautiful place where older adventures kids could run free. Fabulous.

This is a magical island but needs a lot more investment in the houses to charge the prices it is currently charging.

This island is a gem. A shabby chique style throughout which we loved. The pool was warm and swimming in the estuary too. Having bikes on site was a fabulous bonus too. The weather was good for us and gave me the perfect birthday retreat with my family.
