Host Dianna was very good and responsive with her communication. Clear instructions were provided via email (prior to check-in) regarding how to enter the gated and secure property. Once we had gained entrance - which was a simple but very secure process - we found a Guest Guidebook listing policies and procedures for the home (such as no shoes inside the home, which is a common courtesy in Hawaii). Additionally, there was a section on the history and culture of Hawaii, along with suggestions for local shopping, things to do, the usual tourist advice. The property is very bright and modern, with a lovely view of the mountains from the second floor. Several of the bedrooms have windows facing the busy main highway to downtown Honolulu - Kalanianaole Hwy - but the traffic noise is minimized by keeping the windows shut and the attractive shutters closed for sleeping at night. A small beach and park with picnic area is a short walk away. All in all, Dianna has a delightful property!

Dianna was a welcoming and communicative host. We had a great stay at her place. Every part of the house was clean, spacious, and beautiful. The house had plenty of dining and cookware, extra towels and cleaning supplies. We enjoyed having big family dinners there. The house is in a great neighborhood, 20 minutes from downtown Honolulu and close to beautiful beaches and scenic hikes. The only thing to consider is that the house is located right on the highway, so you may want to bring ear plugs for the traffic noise / sirens at night and plan to exercise caution when entering and exiting the driveway. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back!
