Beautiful house in a stunning location. Everything we needed and more for a fantastic family holiday. Would highly recommend!

Tired and misrepresented. We booked based on photographs of a games room with snooker table and darts board which didn't exist. The well stocked wine bar pictured contained approx 4 bottles of white wine of the echo falls variety (nowhere near a £10 charge). The hot tub was only half full so we couldnt use it the first night. The 3 bags of logs and kindling were there but there but no other bags in the outbuilding as described and everywhere was shut resulting in a long drive to find somewhere to buy more. The nespresso pods pictured were nowhere to be found (only 4 aldi pods) and no instructions. The shower was covered in black mould which I cleaned. The lights to the bench were all broken and lying in pieces. There was litter lying on the doorstep. The kitchen bin was broken. Food recommendations were not updated. Only one was not 'permanently closed'. The beds were comfy but there was an unpleasant smell in the twin room. Overall neglected, misrepresented and overpriced.

Beautiful location, and while there are no immediate views from the property, you are literally a 5 min walk from some amazing places to watch the sunset. This property is clean, beds are comfy, and the kitchen is large and well equipped. Communication with the owners was easy and the instructions for the property were clear. In conclusion, a large, clean & functional property in a great general location - completely as described in the listing.

Maison idéalement située sur la merveilleuse îles de Scalpay : baignade et randonnées dans toute l'île et le sud d'Harris a proximité. Maison confortable cuisine bien équipée. Seul bémol la table de la cuisine est petite et la pièce trop étroite pour 8. Si il n'y avait pas eu de jeunes enfants avec nous cela aurait été compliqué. Le logement est plus adapté pour 6 que 8 en réalité. Attention également les options de ravitaillement dont maigres à Tarbert, il faut penser à faire ses courses à Stornoway à 1h de là.

Peaceful and beautiful part of the world with a view from the bench that is worth the price of the house alone. Highly recommend!
