Just returned hone from a fabulous holiday in Harris stayinf at Christinas beautiful house. We have visited the Island many times with family connections and this truely stands out as one of the best accomodations. We had a little diffiuclty finding the house but with some help from friendly locals we found it. The pictures don't do this place justice. Its huge and decorated perfectly. Beds were comfy, bathrooms clean and well stocked and lots of towels available. Lovely fire, jigsaws available, record player and reccords, smart TVs in every room. Christina was on hand to answer any questions. Right in Tarbert this place is ideal for visiting the whole island. Lovely Deli "loom shed" nearby for coffee and of course the distillary accross the road. I would 100% stay here again

Christina’s place in Tarbert is the nicest Airbnb we have stayed in - not just in Harris but anywhere! It was spacious, warm, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Beds and living spaces were so comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. It’s ideally located in the village - great for walking, but plenty of car parking space too. We also really appreciated how responsive and friendly Christina was - and thrilled that she was able to organise some fresh, locally caught lobster during our stay. I’m so delighted that we chose this for our visit to Harris, and can’t wait to come back again soon!

I was stuck in another country prior to arriving in the UK due to UK Air Traffic Control issue. Christina was very responsive and even offered to extend my stay. I appreciated the basket of essentials left for me as the local shops close early compared to North American shops. The rooms are well appointed with nice comfortable furniture, the wifi was is fast and the TV channels are endless. The appliances were top notch and hiking around the area I really appreciated the washing machine. In the short time I was there, I didn’t get to do everything I wanted to and will have to come back. I hope Christina’s place is available! I would book it for sure. The friendliness of the locals is outstanding, they really go out of their way to help. All in all, a stunning location in a beautiful home. Well done Christina!

Christina’s house is an amazing place to stay for discovering Harris and Lewis. Christina was a great host and very responsive & helpful - flexible for our arrival and departure which was much appreciated with the ferry. The house had everything and more. Perfect central location for everything in Tarbert and short drive to Harris’ amazing beaches. Would love to return again and wouldn’t hesitate to re-book. Cannot fault it. Thanks Christina
