We are seven friends who booked Fioran for a coastal rowing week around Harris and Lewis. Unfortunately Storm Kathleen had other ideas, but the house was fabulous, spacious and so comfortable that we were so happy to be storm bound. The location is stunning, and the house is luxurious, spacious and cosy. We cooked every evening and the kitchen provided everything we needed. Couldn’t recommend a house more - you won’t regret this magical place.

We had a lovely stay at the beautiful Fioran House. The house was tastefully furnished with plenty of space for our family of 10 ~ we made good use of the modern kitchen, dining & lounge areas & we found having 3 fridges (2 with freezers) very useful ~ we appreciated having our own bathrooms too. The views around the house were outstanding & beautiful beaches a short walk or drive away. Despite the wet & windy weather for most of our week ~ we made the most of the beautiful Islands ~ with visits to Tarbert, including the council run swimming pool, the amazing standing stones at Calanis & the main town of Stornoway. The nearby art cafe, chocolate shop & artists workshops were a Godsend ~ as we visited them several times during our weeks stay ~ together with the wonderful Community shop at Leverburgh. Communications with the hosts went smoothly & any queries were promptly dealt with. Many thanks to the hosts Rana & Fiona for a wonderful holiday ~ we will definitely return.

Great house and a fantastic location! No more than 10 minutes from the best beaches in Harris and such a prime position to explore the island. The house is huge and easily accommodated 5 adults and 4 kids. The bedrooms were all big and 4 had ensuites. The lounge and dining area is big and the porch section is great for relaxing with a beer/wine/tea looking over to Luskentyre and Seilebost. The games room was a great distraction on a rainy day and a nice added bonus. Loads of parking on the big driveway. Everything about the house was great and we will definitely come back soon!

Highly recommend. Exactly as advertised. Location is great. Home is well appointed. Hosts were responsive and very helpful. Can’t wait to stay here again.
