Kransplaas is an absolutely beautiful spot! A truly unique and peaceful hidden gem. A short drive from Graaff-Reinet, the town is very accessible for self catering, with a great butcher and grocery stores. Awesome restaurants close by too. Perfect place for a stop-over on a long drive, but would be awesome for a longer stay too. We stayed in the Nyala villa, which is very modern and private. Awesome for families or a group of friends. Super modern bedrooms with private bathrooms. Living area has a big modern kitchen and bar, outside area with a braai and hot tub. There is a big dam for an outdoor swim. They have really thought of every detail. One of the most well stocked self catering places we’ve ever been to. We are slightly obsessed with the beauty and tranquility of this place! Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the beautiful setting and the lovely walks on this special Karoo farm. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

What an absolute gem. My family of 6 stayed at Antalya lodge and we had an absolute (peaceful) blast. We have 2 little ones under 3 and the nearby dam and plethora of birds provided ample entertainment. Living area is well apportioned and tastefully furnished, rooms very comfortable and great quality beds. Worth the slight detour out of town, but easy to find and pleasant drive. We’ll be using it for overnight stop offs again for sure, but it can be a destination bush break on its own.
