The Captain's Cottage could not possibly be cuter. It's a delightful little place full of thoughtful touches like the classical music playing when we walked in, the mints on the table, the first aid kit, etc. The back patio area is delightful and private--and the orchids were stunning! The cottage is on a somewhat noisy street, so planning for some street noise at bedtime is wise. I used a white noise app on my phone and slept just fine in the front bed nook. The shower is fantastic--nice hot water and great pressure. Truly a delightful location for our quick stay in Long Beach. I just wish we had a little more time to enjoy the ambiance of the cottage.

The Captain's Cottage was fabulous. A lovely and well-appointed refuge that made me feel right at home and comfortable. I love the outdoor seating as well as all the effort put into making it feel comfortable and quiet. Steve was a great host, allowing me to check in early and making sure I had everything I needed. Only a few blocks from the beach, I found the location perfect. A great neighbourhood for walking/biking. If I ever find myself in Long Beach again, this would be the first place I would try to book!

Eileen’s place was perfect, blocks from the beach and close to lots of great restaurants and bars. Very quiet and comfortable. I would gladly stay here again in the future.
