It was an absolute delight to stay in the East Wing. It was beautiful in every way. The welcome drinks and mini-victoria sponges, the macaroons and little details was superb! Gil and Philip had thought of everything. Gil was great at welcoming us and always had time for a chat. We met the gorgeous Humphrey (Fox Terrier), and was given a feeding basket for the donkeys, pigmy goats, the fantastic chickens and Finn the horse. The Thai meal we ordered to have at our accommodation was delicious! I would absolutely recommend staying at this stunning place. It was peaceful with beautiful grounds and not far from Snettisham, Burnham Market and Holt etc. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

My friends and I had a lovely stay at the east wing. We loved all the little touches which made it special, like the fizz and cakes on arrival, macarons next to the bed and fresh eggs in the morning. Gil was an extremely helpful host and we had an incredible Thai meal on the Saturday night. Couldn't recommend more!

Old Hall's East Wing is a gorgeous holiday let and we had a wonderful three night stay. Gil and Philip are superb hosts! From personal recommendations of places to visit and eat, to thoughtful treats for guests to find. Our four year old was welcomed warmly with treats for the animals and he enjoyed exploring the grounds. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and we loved its old-charm cosiness on grey wintry days. The kitchen is well equipped and we mainly self-catered (easier with a young child). We ordered an Indian meal from the room service options and it was authentic and delicious, with generous portion sizes - we recommended it. The air bath was fantastic and there's a huge powerful shower too. A little bit of luxury for a few nights and we'd definitely stay again. Thank you Gil and Philip for your hospitality!

I have no words! The candles lit after a long drive, the fire started upon arrival, the flowers everywhere, the sheer beauty of the place, but above all, the friendly reception from Gil and Philip. If you want a luxury stay and feel like the king of Spain, search no more.

Well, what can I say .. just perfection. Warm, ( -2 outside but toasty in front of the log burner) welcoming, stunning decorations ( we were there in December so dressed for Christmas with real tree). The little extras just kept coming. Drinks on arrival, fresh cakes, decanter of port, fresh eggs in the morning….The Thai meal we had was hot and delicious ! We will definitely be back !
