Traumhaft schöne Lage. Freistehendes Häuschen mit Garten direkt am Stand. (Garten ist durch die ruhige Straße getrennt vom Haus). Schöne Schlafzimmer und bequeme Betten. Das Bad ist sehr einfach aber ausreichend. Separates WC im EG. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt.

Clean & tidy lovely sea view from front windows & the wine & shortbread was a nice welcoming touch , the property is tired in a few areas ie the window frames need attention as there was quite a gap at the bedroom window with the twin beds also in that same room the mattresses could do with being replaced as my daughter complained of a spring protruding into her , also a shower would be a welcome enhancement to the property. The coal fire was very handy on the first night when it was chilly.

Great stay at Lindy's place in June 2023. The house is somewhat older but has lots of authentic charm, is equipped with everything you could need and was clean throughout when we arrived. The location is fantastic with views of the harbour and across the firth, especially from the private garden right against the beach. It is very peaceful but there is always something to watch from dawn to dusk, whether it is locals jumping off the harbour wall, the occasional dolphin in the bay or Rosie the cat, one of many friendly locals and something of a celebrity. Portmahomack offers several services nearby, including both the cafe and shop a very, very short walk away. A longer walk to the lighthouse at Tarbat Ness or Rockfield are also worth it. Lindy was very responsive whenever we had any questions and we would love to come back some day. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home and a beautiful place. The views from the 1st floor living room was perfect.
