We had a wonderful second stay at Roger & Susie's place! We were close enough to Lake Placid to enjoy the ECAC hockey tournament yet always felt right at home in our winter retreat. There were even deer grazing outside our window as we started our first of many fires after arrival. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare dinner and a late-winter snowstorm actually gave us an extra day to enjoy our meals in front of the fireplace while watching NCAA hoops. Roger's kindness was so much appreciated - he even dug our car out from under 8 inches of snow on the morning of our departure. We can only hope to return there again! God Bless!

Roger and Susie are excellent hosts and their cozy home in Keene was the perfect fit for my family of four. We enjoyed preparing meals and dining at home with a lovely fire in the fireplace. The space is extremely comfortable and has just about everything anyone might need to feel at home. The hosts are friendly and great communicators. Excellent location with easy access to trails and the most beautiful scenery of the High Peaks region.

Our stay was amazing. Roger and Susie are fantastic hosts and the house was just what we wanted. Instructions for how to use/find everything in the house were clear and easy to find. The fireplace was one of our favorite features—well stocked and very cozy. This location is perfect and was wonderful for our winter, reading staycation. The house is a decent size with ample space to sleep and a sizable living area to spend time with friends. Not to mention, the surrounding area is picturesque. If you’re looking for a private, cozy place to stay especially in the fall or winter, look no further. We would stay again.

We loved our stay here! Clean and cozy house in a gorgeous location right in the heart of the Adirondacks. Roger was an excellent host who really pays attention to the details and goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. 10/10 would stay here again.

My friends and I had a great stay at Roger and Susie’s cabin. We went up to ski at whiteface and this was the perfect place in the perfect location. Roger was super hospitable and always communicative. We plan on coming back again!
