We had a wonderful stay at Cubblehead. Liz is a great host, being very friendly and sending lots of helpful information. The cottage itself is beautiful and in such a stunning location, overlooking Wensleydale, and being the perfect balance of being accessible and also very quiet. It is possible to go on lots of walks straight from the cottage, and it also serves as a great base for driving around the Dales. The cottage is beautiful with everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. The welcome basket from Liz was very generous and delicious! Thank you so much Liz, for a very memorable Easter break!
This beautifully appointed cottage was an absolute delight to stay in. Cubble Head is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with every amenity we could have needed. We especially loved the comfy beds, spacious kitchen, and beautiful backyard - the perfect spots to relax in. Our host, Liz, has been amazing and truly made this a 5-star stay. From the quick, clear communication to the thoughtful touches like welcome hamper, Christmas decorations and local recommendations - she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Any question or request was met with a prompt, helpful response.
Cubble Head is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful location with amazing garden perfect for a young family. We had a lovely week and the location was perfect for exploring the Dales. We were all very sad to leave and would love to return soon.
A beautiful period cottage that has been renovated superbly. We were met by Liz who showed us round and gave us the necessary information. Looking out of the kitchen window across fields and hills with sheep grazing was so relaxing. Lots of walks directly from the cottage or a drive to some magnificent scenery, waterfalls and walks. We had a very relaxing week in beautiful surroundings and a home to home cottage.
