Mandatory garbage disposal by renters at a town facility was not described by AirBNB. But, the managers quickly offered to pick up garbage and dispose of all after we vacated. Blankets were too few, and difficult to find, and the sheets and pillow cases were in disarray in an upstairs closet. Generally speaking the cleanliness of the home was not what we have experienced in prior rentals. But, the heavy musky smell, and humidity especially in the basement bedroom could be rectified by several dehumidifiers. We will not be renting this house again in the future.

Great location. Private and peaceful and great view of the lake. Ice fishing was disappointing. Shallow area. But didn’t take away from the beautiful property and the management company was very responsive and great to work with if we had any questions.

This property is the starting and central point for an amazing Maine lake experience. The house is located on a perfect cove off the lake. The dock is fantastic and the canoe / kayaks at the house save you the trouble of renting and transporting them. The location is on a private road and close to town. The house inside is beautiful and was plenty spacious and entertaining for that inevitable rainy day on our trip. The house has a generator so you don’t have to worry about power outages which are possible throughout the year. We can’t wait to return!!

Perfect location! Some updates need to be done and the basement had a musty smell. Overall a great property to stay with our fur babies.
