The cottage was perfect for our family! We enjoyed everything about our stay, from the screened in porch to the beach right out the door. We enjoyed family dinners in the dining room as well as the outdoor dining table. We cooked our meals on the outdoor grill and in the fully stocked kitchen. There were enough bedrooms to accommodate all of us and the air conditioning was heaven at night! On cooler nights it was wonderful falling asleep listening to the waves. Just a wonderful place for our family to enjoy each other’s company and the beautiful town of Clinton!

An older place but we’ll maintained and very clean. Owners spent a lot of money on this place. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Electrical recently upgraded. The place lacks nothing - they make sure you have everything you need. They have their summer home on the premises, but you seldom see them. They value your privacy. Beach is private and you will have it to yourself. Area is quiet with light traffic. Really close to supermarkets, restaurants, drug stores etc. We have rented several times at Ct. beaches but by far this has been the best one. Considering the money they have spent on this place and considering what the property taxes are on this beachfront property, what we paid for this rental for one week was reasonable and a good value.

Amazing place for extend family vacation! The rooms offered lots of space to spread out and privacy. The beachfront is private and right outside your door (screened porch faces beach), locals are extremely friendly & the water is perfect for kids (no big waves!) Bring your water shoes and explore the shore for crabs and seashells, bring a kayak/paddle board and explore the shore. Everything needed to cook, eat and lounge chairs available for beach. We loved it!

The Cottage by the Sea is a wonderful get away! We loved the house, plenty of room to relax and spread out both inside and out! The 6 bedrooms give options for everyone and have fans everywhere! The picnic table and outside chairs were great, relaxing on the screened in porch while enjoying coffee was a great start to every morning. Linda and Tom went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to ensure proper safety during these unique times. I highly recommend spending your vacation here!!!
