Our group of friends loved our stay here! Its a nice tucked away house with full amenities and looked as advertised. We would highly recommend to anyone, and its especially great for anyone trying to explore the apostle islands.

Stayed here for a girls weekend -4 days/ 3 nights. The location was quiet and secluded, but close enough to town to bike, walk or drive. All spaces were clean and the beds were comfy.The hosts allowed for a later check out time which was helpful for our late start. Perfect little get away to catch all the best spots Bayfield and the island has to offer. We spent one full day in Bayfield and the rest of the days on the island. We didn’t utilize a car for most of the weekend. I wish I would have brought some safety gear ( reflective clothing/ lights) when walking on the road at dawn. Car traffic was minimal as we came after peak season in mid September. There are designated bike lanes. Very responsive host, would rebook.

Sarah was proactive in sending us clear directions and instructions a week before our arrival. She also accommodated a request for a later check out. The setting was peaceful and the house had everything we needed. Enjoyed spending most of our time on the deck off the living room. I even got to see my first young bear in the woods grazing while we had our morning coffee and tea. And deer would often walk through. At night the stars were incredible! We appreciated the firewood that was available for the guests. It was easy to walk or drive to everything on the island. Sad there wasn't enough time for us to try out the bikes. The one thing as another guest pointed out was that the beds are very high. I too am a shorter stature so it was hard to get in, but once in they were very comfortable! :) Thank you Sarah and family for sharing your space with us!
