Amir was very accommodating when I had a medical emergency and had to depart early. The building manager was also gracious and very helpful. Highly recommend the location. Two doors down sells the best homemade croissants in the area FYI.
I want to give a fair, but truthful review because Amir was so nice and tried to help fix things. I will start with the positives. Pros: - Great location in Westwood, very walkable - Even though the units were on a busy street, I couldn't hear much noise but maybe light car noise. Overall pretty quiet - Spacious units - My unit had a nice view - Onsite laundry - Secure parking with your own assigned spot - Many restaurants within walking distance - Several gyms, stores and Starbucks close by - Amir (the owner) was responsive to messages - Amir was open to fixing things that were an issue. He was willing to paint my room for me as well as send a cleaning person, but it would have been inconvenient because I needed to move out of the room Cons: - Unit 308 was extremely dirty - Walls, doors, light switches, cabinets, bath tub, mattress protector, etc - Nothing had been wiped down. I started wiping things myself - Dishes were mismatched and chipped - No spare towels or sheets and they were old and worn - Some of the other units I was shown were also in need of painting and cleaning I really wanted to stay because of the location and Amir was willing to fix everything while I was there, but I just couldn't get past the uncleanliness of the place. Especially when I saw the mattress protector on my bed. I was pretty disturbed by how dirty and unsanitary it looked. Not all of the rooms I saw were dirty to this degree, but still needed some TLC. Again, Amir was really nice and accommodating. Hopefully he will consider my advice I gave and not wait until someone is already in the unit to fix. These could be really nice places if he does!
Stayed for a little more than a month. Apt was clean and close to UCLA via bus. Good communication with the host. Neighborhood was good with great food options. Property was safe.
This place was very safe, private, and SPACIOUS. It is a huge studio with very good circulation.. I stayed for one month and was very happy however I prefer to have a full size kitchen which this place does not have. Amir is wonderful and responds very well and NOT INTRUSIVE . complimentary parking garage is a huge bonus kept my vehicle safe and not have to stress over parking. Parking in LA is a nightmare . I love westwood and the neighborhood is safe with a lot of restaurants, beauty salons, close to Beverly Hills and The beaches. The building is older but you would be very safe with room to breath. I would definitely rebook due to PRIVACY, SAFETY, PARKING and large units.
