You are greeted by dogs every time you return , so you better like dogs. It’s very safe there … out in the countryside… mostly horse farms.

Ruth is a wonderful host. The accommodations are beautiful and the grounds are an amazing array of cultivated beauty and natural wonder. The location is perfect for day trips to Seattle, the Olympic peninsula and many other natural wonders of the Puget Sound. Staying at Sunrise Cottage is special and will create permanent memories.

Ruth was an exceptional host. She was responsive and made sure we had everything that we needed and more. The property was beautiful and peaceful. Close enough to take the ferry from Bremerton to Seattle or just enjoy the quiet of Gig Harbor or Port Orchard.
