I had the most lovely stay in Tom's cottage. It looks just like the photos - so homey and charming, and nestled away in a beautiful flower filled meadow. The space is filled with thoughtful touches and you can tell a lot of care went into decorating it. I've never immediately felt so at home in someone else's place! Tom was a delightful host and greeted me upon my arrival, welcoming me to the area and giving me recommendations for places to visit. He also gifted me a jar of homemade jam upon my departure, which I can't wait to try!! This one of the most unique and cozy airbnb's I've ever stayed at, and I very much hope to be back. Thank you again!!

This is my second time staying at Little Gemma and it was as wonderful and relaxing as the first time I visited. Tom is a wonderfully, kind host and goes out of his way to make me feel comfortable. The best word to describe Little Gemma itself, is thoughtfulness. From the lighting to the amenities to even the hinges on the windows, everything is thought out for comfort and relaxation. A wonderful place to read, write, draw, or just relax on beautiful Vashon Island.

This was our first trip to Vashon Island and thanks to Little Gemma and Tom it won't be our last. The cabin is even more magical than any of its photos. Tom's keen eye for decor really takes it to another level. The accommodations are small and cozy. It felt very private and secluded yet we were only a 3-minute drive from the center of town. We had everything we needed to make tea in the morning and start our day. We soaked in the claw foot tub and woke up in the morning to the sound of nearby roosters. Tom recommended some local things to do in town for the weekend including an estate sale where we spent a good hour of our day. I really cannot recommend this place enough if you plan on visiting Vashon for a little getaway!

This cottage is a one-of-a-kind stay. So cozy and convenient. Private but not far from town. It was a really perfect place to be for my week of studying on the island. Tom is a genuine and kind host - I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality.
