Found this place during a last min search and booked based on the great reviews. I have to say that the reviews were spot on, and the great rating was justified. Devinder is a great host. He has built a really nice and homely place by himself (with a lot of DIY). Room was big, clean, organised and had a very nice view. Food was homemade and was terrific. He recommended the local walks and offered to take us on a small walk to the nearby waterfall. The place would look even better during the fruits season as there were a lot of fruit trees in the property. Will stay again when I am in the area.

oaktree is situated between Narkanda and Rampur, so if you are looking to travel to Spiti Valley, it cuts short your time if you stay here. The place is neat and clean. The best part about this place are the various plantations of vegetables and apple orchards and various other fruits that you can pluck and have right there. Devinder Katyal the owner and his family were extremely hospitable. the food was awesome, best was the local breakfast called Siddu which was awesome. would definitely recommend to stay stay here for someone planning to go to Spiti Valley

We stayed at Oak Tree for one night. The experience was very good. Our host Mr. Devinder Katyal ji is an honest , genuine and above person with a positive attitude. The property was well maintained, clean and easily approchable. The food was wonderful, very delicious and just like home food. He maitains a fully furnished studio apartment also. The view from the room was very satisfying. A well maintained apple orchid is an added advantage.

We had a wonderful stay at Oaktree View Farm Stay. Though we spent only a night at Devinderji's place but still we managed to spent time in his Apple Orchards. The food was good. The place is bit inside from the main road in Kumarsain. Only thing we faced was hot water availability, it was there for sometime but went off or maybe the heater was not working. Rest everything was good.
