The house and amenities were as described. We arrived after dark and we were slightly alarmed when we pulled in the driveway and saw a truck parked out back, I guess it belongs to the owners. The washer and dryer are definitely aged and very loud. The kitchen is fully stocked but there are only glass drinking cups which makes me nervous since I have children and don't want to cause any damage. The overall cleanliness is excellent however, there are large dead bugs in some of the overhead light fixtures. Overall, our stay was great.

Our stay at Barefoot Cottage was a nice one but not without a few disappointing factors. The house itself was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well appointed. Our biggest issues were that both bedroom have FULL size mattresses and NOT Queen as advertised. This might not be an issue for everyone but when your used to sleeping in a king size bed there is a HUGE difference with a Full. There wasnt much we could change about that so we moved on. The other thing to note is there were no extra sheets or sheets provided for the futon. We were a family of 5 so you would have to assume we would have been using it for sleeping. Luckily we brought our own but it was just a little disappointing. Since we were using the "den" as a sleeping space there was no area in the house to comfortably relax. There is a nice chair and a half in the living room but the wicker couch was very uncomfortable. We didnt spend a ton of time at home so it wasnt that big of a deal but there was no way for the whole family to sit back comfortably and watch a movie. This was our first time visiting Carrabelle and while I could definitely see us returning it wouldn't be to stay at the Barefoot Cottage.

This is terrific and cozy place. It’s convenient to multiple beaches, islands, and parks. It’s also near grocery and restaurant options, with several other towns and options in reasonable proximity.

Very cute cottage conveniently located near beach. A few minor issues with the home but nothing serious. I did feel it was a bit high considering the fact we had friends staying directly on the beach in a condo that was much bigger and nicer than ours and they paid much less.
