Wonderful cabin well worth the cost, beautiful lakeside location. The cabin didn’t seem as big as in the photos, but it was quaint and cozy and perfect for my husband and I and our 2 teenage daughters. Fully stocked with everything needed as well including Wifi. Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin on Lake Colby. The space was cozy and serene with a beautiful view of the lake. We loved that it was a short drive to Mirror Lake and other winter activities we wanted to do. Ethan and Hyde were lovely and helpful when we communicated with them. Would definitely visit again and stay at this cabin.

We felt at home pretty quickly in this cozy cabin. We could watch people ice fishing from the window, and then walk out the door to go skating on the lake. The cabin is near enough to town that we were able to walk there when we wanted, and an easy drive to Mt Pisgah, Lake Placid, and plenty of other spots. Every time we returned, we could warm up again sitting by the fire. The neighboring cabins are close but it still felt private during our stay. And the cabin was clean, comfortable and easy to enjoy. Huda and Ethan were available and responsive hosts throughout the process if we needed them. We would definitely stay again next time we’re in the area.

The cabin was exactly as described! Hosts are quick to respond to questions. My family had a wonderful time at the cabin on Colby!!

The cabin is charming and peaceful. The gas fireplace and large, well-equipped kitchen were particularly nice. Overall the cabin was clean and tidy, although there was some dust and cobwebs in the corners. The only main downside was that traffic on the nearby road, across the lake, could be noisy outside. This wasn't an issue at all inside the cabin, and since it was winter we didn't spend much time outside anyway. But in the summer it could be less than peaceful if you were enjoying the firepit and adirondack chairs right on the lake. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and provided some local suggestions without being overbearing. They have made the cabin feel very homey and snug, and went above and beyond by setting up a decorated Christmas tree since we were there over the holidays.
