We had the best time at The Old Shippen. Everything couldn't be more perfect. The place was immaculately clean and had all you need for a longer stay. it was cosy and warm with amazing panoramic views. The farm is a perfect tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle and has several attractions just a short drive away. it's a great base to explore Dartmoor. Jackie is a brilliant host and makes the place so warm and welcoming, and her cake is amazing. By far the best place to stay in Dartmoor. Hope to be back again soon.

A lovely and place on the edge of Dartmoor and an ideal base for exploring this wonderful national park and its surroundings. The property is very well appointed, homely and very clean. Jackie is a lovely host and makes a wonderful cake that greets you on arrival. This was our second stay and we look forward to coming back.

Cannot fault this accommodation ! The barn conversion is really well made and has everything you could need and more. It is very clean and new, and ideally situated for us as we wanted to visit Dartmoor National Park. We had ideal weather and were able to make good use of the barbecue ! Jackie is a very welcoming and attentive host, thank you very much !

What a stunning location. Very child friendly and Jackie was absolutely lovely with her welcome. She gave us great recommendations on what activities to do with our children in the local town and great suggestions on where to grab a bite to eat. Thank you Jackie for our lovely stay and thank you for the delicious cake.
