Great stay. Heating the hitting want to much of an issue. Would be good if you could request for it to be pre-lit, even at a small charge

Great location only 5 min drive from Coniston. Had one meal at the pub next door, although pricey the portions were huge, we got the fish and chips. Staff were helpful when we needed matches for the hot tub as none provided, and they also brought us a bowel of chips we ordered over to the hut! 0 noise issues. The hut was great, so cute and perfect for a few days stay. Bed quite high but can’t be helped. Mould in the bathroom and main living space in the cracks where the wall meets the ceiling and same around the shower floor. Shower pressure was poor. Blind above bed not long enough. No sponge for dishes provided. Private garden and field beyond was great. The hot tub was fab! It was already filled on arrival. 2.5 hours to heat 1st night from 10-38°+, 2nd night took 1 hour ish to get from 30-38°+. More logs etc would be good for the price you pay per night. Had to buy 1 extra bag of logs from the garage in Coniston for £7. Although ran into a few issues we’d stay definitely stay again.

A lovely place in a gorgeous location! It is a perfect base for walks and visiting different lakes and the pub on site is lovely as well! The food and drink in the pub is exactly what you need. I would definitely stay here again… The only thing that slightly ruins the experience is the hot tub (and looking back on the reviews I think it’s a common problem). After a long hike my partner spent 7 hours going outside every 20 minutes to top the fire up, we used 3 bags of wood and it was still only lukewarm. The only way to actually heat the hot-tub up is to stay in all day to keep it going. A bit disappointing as the hot-tub was a huge deciding factor in us picking this stay and unfortunately it did take away from our experience. The staff member on checkout was also very rude and was reluctant to serve the queue of 5 people.

Had a lovely stay at the daisy hut. It had absolutely everything I needed for my solo trip and was extremely peaceful and cozy. The hot tub is a really nice addition and although it takes a while to get going, it’s definitely worth the wait. It did heat up a lot quicker on the second and third night as water was still warm. Staff at the pub and deli are very welcoming and helpful if you need anything. I would definitely stay here again.
