A stylish & rustic getaway nestled in Black Mountain, this authentic luxury mountain cabin offers long-range views from every level and is situated on 12 majestic acres. This rental is pet friendly with an additional $100 pet fee per dog (maximum of 2 dogs; pet fees are NOT included in the original reservation price or room rate provided by Airbnb when booking). This authentic, luxury mountain cabin boasts long-range views from every level and sits on 12 majestic acres. As a pet-friendly property, your furry friend can wander the mountainside within the newly-installed fenced yard or nap in the sunshine while you unwind in the clawfoot tub on the deck with a glass of wine while taking in the panoramic mountain view. Brindle Barn is located just outside the charming town of Black Mountain (a 15-minute drive) and is just 30 minutes to Asheville. When you're not relaxing on the couch in front of the cozy wood stove or making a delicious dinner with the gas grill, the convenient location makes venturing into town to enjoy local shops, outdoor activities, and other exciting attractions an absolute breeze. Cabin Layout Main Floor: Den with queen sleeper sofa and a smart TV (streaming + cable available with Hulu TV); Bedroom with a king bed; Bedroom with a queen bed. There is a full hall bath (shower only no tub). However, there is an amazing soaker tub on the deck! Upstairs: Open floor plan with kitchen island that seats 4; living room with a smart TV (streaming + cable available with Hulu TV). Outdoors: Decks on both floors have lots of seating and space to enjoy the amazing views! You'll also find a gorgeous mountain-themed mural by Asheville's Ian the Painter just below the wraparound decks. During the colder winter months, icy and/or snowy road conditions and delayed snow plow operations are possible within the development. From December through March, please come prepared with AWD or 4WD vehicles. We also highly recommend travel insurance.

From top to bottom we had an amazing stay! To start, we received multiple communications prior to our arrival with clear instructions. When we arrived there were snacks on the counter, frosted mugs in the freezer, dog treats on the fridge, and dog beds for both of our dogs. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the decks with chairs, a blackstone grill, swings, and a hammock gave us so many ways to enjoy the view! The yard is fenced allowing for ample play space for our dogs. The kitchen is well stocked so we had everything we needed to cook. I can't say enough great things about this listing, it really was just magical! The only thing to note, is this is truly up in the mountains, so for those who choose this place, and you definitely should, be prepared for single track dirt road along the mountain for the last 0.5 mile. That being said we became very comfortable with it and never encounter another vehicle so it was no issue. Thank you for a great stay!
We had such a great stay! The views are incredible and we loved the wood burning stove inside and the bath tub out on the deck. Only consideration is that with the living area on the top floor and bedrooms on the bottom floor, you can hear very easily downstairs. Our kids slept fine though. We would definitely book another stay here!
My second time staying here and it’s truly my favorite Airbnb to stay at in the world. Picturesque views, comfortable rooms, a kitchen you can actually cook in. Truly a 10/10 experience all around.
Our stay at Brindle Barn was terrific. Nestled amidst the breathtaking scenery, the cabin offered the perfect summer vacation. From the moment we arrived, we was captivated by the rustic charm and coziness of the interior, and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. Lots of hiking in nearby. Without a doubt, Brindle Barn is a hidden gem, and we can't wait to return.

The easiest way to get around the Black Mountain and Asheville areas is to commute by car or rental car. Car services such as Uber or local taxi services are available in our area. Black Mountain and Asheville also have “ART” (Asheville Redefines Transit) buses that run throughout the day and into the early evening hours.
