Villa Zambaldi exceeded all of our expectations! Often times on Airbnb, photos surpass the reality, however with Villa Zambaldi the opposite is true. From the beautiful pool to the hand painted walls, from the comfy beds to the decor in every single room…Villa Zambaldi was perfection. Every single detail was thought of! The grounds were absolutely breathtaking, the house itself was stunning, and Cosimo was the most gracious host. Our family lounged at the pool one morning and then drove 10 minutes into Lucca that same afternoon. The next day we drove 90 minutes to San Gimignano and the next day was an hour drive to Florence. It was hard to pull ourselves away from Villa Zambaldi, but we knew we had exploring to do! Cosimo is a world class chef and created the most delicious dinner for our family on our first night at Villa Zambaldi. Villa Zambaldi is a must for anyone considering a stay in Tuscany.  We would give our trip 6 stars if we could!

An enchanting house with a beautiful garden and swimming pool set in a very quiet rural location with stunning views. Cosimo was very friendly and helpful and cooked us a fantastic dinner one evening. We would have no hesitation in returning.

We had an amazing stay, the villa is stunning and in a beautiful location. There were 9 of us and there was plenty of space in the villa. The grounds & the pool area are gorgeous, you can see Lucca & it is surrounded by pretty Tuscan hills. Short drive /taxi into Lucca so a great location. Cosimo was the best host, always helpful with recommendations & cooked us a very delicious meal on the last night. We had the best time & did not want to leave, I highly recommend this villa as a place to stay!

Cosimo's villa is a beautiful historic villa in a great location. Close to grocery stores and restaurants but set aside in the beautiful landscape of the surrounding mountains of Lucca. The kitchen and living room with the fireplace is where we spent most of our time and was very comfortable. There are multiple larger gathering rooms, should you have a larger group of people. The balcony has such a great view, but we stayed in January so it was a bit cold to spend a lot of time outside. The gardens are very well kept. You can tell Cosimo takes great care of his property, inside and out. Cosimo was always available for questions or concerns during our stay.

Very Nice place ! 10 minutes from downtown Lucca. Quiet place!
