Lovely seasonal (winter) views of the lake from their sunroom. Kind hosts. Beautiful part of Tennessee.
Roger and Marlene were wonderful hosts. Our bedroom and private bath were perfect for us. The place is well situated and they helped us with ideas and recommendations. We will stay there again.
Nice stay. They provide a cooked breakfast, one day and continental breakfast the rest of the time. Both a pocket door and a door on the bedroom so noise from the TV in the evening was blocked. We were able to store a few things in the refrigerator. We could use the sunroom but there was TV noise from their living room in the evening. Little or no outside noise.
I love these two so much! Being with them was one of the greatest blessings of my life .
I stayed 3 nights. I came in late the 1st night and it was easy for me to enter the house. The room location is very convenient along with the private bath. Roger and I had coffee each morning and chatted a bit. I anticipate staying with them several time in the coming months as we build a cottage in the area. Note: Several hotels are closer to where our cottage is being build. I choose to stay with R + M because it is a much nicer than a cold hotel room!
