Bakary and his family are extremely friendly and helpful, a real authentic experience, we learned a lot about the real Gambia. The location is wonderful, the best bit of Sanyang beach. Very relaxing to be in their restaurant, enjoying the breakfast with the sea view or sitting by the fire in the evenings talking to Bakary. We went to sleep with the sound of the waves.

Awesome place! We stayed here for a week, were able to completely relax and enjoy ourselves. Happy Garden Beach is a small-scale and harmonious place with a beautiful garden and a clean beach that is raked every morning by Bakary. He and his lovely family and crew are available all day long for all your needs. Bakary arranged taxis for us to be picked up from the airport, go to the Tanji Bird Reserve for kayaking and go shopping in Birkama. He has two bikes for rent so we could cycle around Paradise Beach and go to Sanyang, a nice little town. We slept in a round African hut made of clay and stone, with good mattresses, shower, toilet and sink. (three new cabins are in the making). Three ladies run the kitchen and provide fresh breakfast, fruit salads and delicious meals. We are very grateful and moved by the tangible loving care and happiness that surrounds this place. We will be back in this small paradise!

Liebe Traveller, ich kann diesen Ort 100% empfehlen: Es gibt meines Erachtens 2 Arten das Land kennen zu lernen. Erstens, man ist viel Unterwegs sieht viel, macht tolle Fotos und lässt die Zuhausegebliebenen vor Neid erblassen. Oder man bleibt längere Zeit und redet mit den Menschen vor Ort über die Themen die für sie wichtig sind. Dieses Mal habe ich mir dort Zeit genommen . Es war eine schöne Zeit. Ich kann sagen neue Freunde gewonnen zu haben. Wer in mitten einer Familie mit vielen Kindern sich wohl fühlt ist hier richtig. Natürlich ist der Platz sehr lebendig aber schon wenige Meter abseits kann man ganz alleine sein. Das Meer ist flach und eignet sich besonders für Kinder oder auch Nichtschwimmer. Die Crew ist sehr aufmerksam und ist bemüht einen guten Service zu bieten. Besonders Bakari, der Kopf der Anlage ist ständig am rotieren. Ich wohnte in einem Steinhaus mit Solardach. Strom gibt es deshalb ab 11.00 Uhr zum laden des Handy. Wlan bitte Bakari um Hotspot bitten. See you.

wonderful place, very safe, you can leave Your phone on the beach)). the descprition of the room/home is poor. the bed not so comfortable, the service of a camping. no much water and Save Energy. but everything is compensate by the friendly atmosphere and hot location. i don t think youwill arrive here to stay in the room)))
