My 3 boys and I spent 3 very nice days at Emanuele's place - a small organic vineyard perched high above the Ligurian sea. The hike up from the nearest bus station in Biassa took less than an hour and was very pleasant - just make sure you have a backpack rather than a suitcase if you travel by public transport. But if you have luggage - or don't feel like hiking up after a long day of exploring Cinque Terre - Emanuele is also very helpful with organising a taxi from Biassa or the next train station. The food was very good, and the wine and liquor tasting dinners accompanied by Emanuele's piano recitals were most enjoyable. We highly recommend the 3-hour hike to Porto Venere in the south. It is "off the beaten track" compared to the hikes between Riomaggiore and Monterosso, with beautiful views all along and a wonderful little town with great restaurants, swimming spots and an interesting castle. Emanuele's place is an absolute gem and a perfect base for exploring cinque terre!

We could not recommend Emanuele’s place enough, what a brilliant three days. Emanuele (and family) could not have been more accommodating, helping us out with transport when needed and catering for us during the stay. This was unlike any other Airbnb we have stayed in before with how remote the place is, but if you are looking for a peaceful escape with incredible food and breathtaking views, this one is for you. Emanuele, Christina and Francesco, you made our trip so perfect, thank you!

Emanuele's place was the highlight of our entire trip to Italy. He cultivated an environment at his home and vineyard that was an incredible experience. If you're thinking about booking, do it. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The room and house are immaculate. The food and music was perfection.

Bei Emanuele und Kristin sind alle herzlich willkommen. In der kleinen Küche zaubern die beiden leckere regionale Gerichte. Auch Vegetarier kommen auf ihre Kosten. Am Tisch treffen sich Menschen aus aller Welt und jeder hat etwas zu erzählen. Auch Emanuele mit seinem reichen Erfahrungsschatz sitzt, wenn er nicht Klavier spielt, gerne dabei und hat gute Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Gegend. Das Klavierspiel an diesem magischen Ort schafft eine Stimmung, die unvergesslich bleibt. Bei Wein und selber gemachtem Limoncello haben wir interessante Unterhaltungen geführt. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet, aber genau das passt zur Atmosphäre in dem kleinen Weingut, das Emanuele zu neuem Leben erweckt hat. Der Blick auf das Meer ist unbeschreiblich, wir waren 4 Nächte dort und haben 4 phantastische Sonnenuntergänge erlebt. Alle Gäste waren begeistert. Danke an Kristin und Emanuele, die ein kleines Paradies geschaffen haben und uns daran teilhaben lassen!

We had an incredible few nights at Emanuele’s place! We hiked down to the water, the hike was as described, steep but stunning, swam, and came up for dinner. Waking up to those views on top of the mountains was out of this world! He picked us up from the train station, helped us with all our silly questions, accommodated our pescatarian diet, and in general was a warm and gracious host with his partner.
