Mayumi's place is exactly as is shown, very clean and nicely done. That said, it is basically a hotel room in a residential neighborhood. There were no kitchen supplies (eg can/bottle opener) and no stores or restaurants within walking distance. So be sure to bring with you what might be needed. It was very quiet and a comfortable place to stay.

Easy to get to! Came in for Highwater festival, and it was a little drive but better than being in traffic!

My husband and I stayed one night with our 4 month old baby at Mayumi's place and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Mayumi was very sweet to put a "Happy Anniversary" sign with chocolates to welcome us and was very willing to help if we needed anything. We thought the breakfast in bed was a cool touch and I definitely appreciated the coffee in the morning. I would definitely stay there again.

Mayumi’s listing as “A” is as represented . The location is rather remote if you are focused on exploring central Charleston. If you like camping and glamping with chickens scratching in the back yard then this is THE PLACE to be. You won’t beat the value, and the drive is well worth the time once you discover Ellis Creek Fish Camp for delicious sunset dining.
